Mini Jam Jam

Mini Jam Jam is a very cute hand lotion, which cost me around $8-9 There are 5 essences you can choose from strawberry jam, steam milk, hand cream gel, orange and walnut. I'm going to try to buy all of them because they are sooo cute. >.< I bought the strawberry jam one and it smells exactly like strawberry jam!

Packaging: The packaging is adorable, is only half the size of my palm and has a matte finish to it. It has a unique cape that has a shape of an octagon, making it really easy to open and close the tube. I would say this lotion is very convenient to bring along anywhere with you. Just pop it in your bag and you're ready to go.

The consistency of the lotion is not too thick and easily absorbed. As you can see from the picture it has a milky, translucent texture.
Personally, I wouldn't really recommend this if you wanted a long lasting hydrating moisturiser. As in my experience, it was quite moisturising and smelt wonderful but this didn't really last long. I recommend mixing this lotion with aloe vera gel, to make the moisturising gel last longer. I would just use this as an on-to-go moisturiser or when i feel like my hands are a little dry. I'd recommend this to people who'd like a cute hand lotion to have in their hand-bag; but if you're expecting a long-lasting, deeply hydrating hand cream then you're better off buying something else! :)

Likes:
- Cute packaging
- convenient
- smells like strawberry jam.

Dislikes:
- smell doesn't last long
- Is not very moisturising in the long-term.

Holika Holika Face 2 change

So basically, this is a different version of the typical pump BB cream. It is like a cushion airy pact and so is very cooling in summer. It smells very calming with a slight floral perfumy scent. The sponge that comes with this is very good! The thing that caught my eye was that it was SPF 50+ and so on days when i'm lazy i don't need an extra layer of sunscreen haha. Remember to put on sunscreen even when the day seems cloudy because UVA can still easily penetrate through the clouds!

The packaging is similar to a make-up palette with an extra tray for the cushion. It fits pretty comfortably on my hand, but a little bit chunkier then what I expected. Though I guess it's suppose to be bigger than it usually is because there needs to be space for the BB cream and the cushion. However, it is a bit hard opening the lid separating the sponge and the bb cream underneath but i guess that just means it's very secure :)

I'm loving the pink and black together. I think it complements each other very well. It is sophisticated yet cute at the same time.<3

I just loveeee the spongey feeling of the BB cream. It feels moist and cool. Especially when it goes on your face. When I pressed the cushion to get the BB cream, I didn't expect there to be a lot of cream on it but when you put it on your skin I realised that a little goes a long way. But it just depends on how hard you press.

I don't know if you could see it properly (sorry about the camera quality) but the hand on the left is the one with the BB cream and the other hand has nothing. As you can see, it gives pretty good coverage; my veins are mostly covered and my small blemishes are completely hidden.
You just need around about one pump to receive a medium coverage and a natural look without looking too pale.

Likes:
The sponge BB cream!! (I love that sponge!!) <3
Good coverage
SPF 50+
Dewy finish
Decent coverage of blemishes and imperfections
the lightweight and moist feel especially in summer!

Dislikes:
It doesn't match for all skin types.
Can make you look abnormally white if you overapply - one pump is adequate and don't overapply on the t zone area.

Face it Lesson 01 Review

The Face it Lesson 01 concealer kit is one of Son Dae Shik's collection. He's a make-up artist in Korea. This is actually the first time I've heard of him, because the only make-up artist I know is Jung Sae Mool.

The packaging was nice and simple. It was sleek and what I liked about it was when you closed the lid it had a magnetic click.

This is the back of the outer package. It's all in Korean, so I don't understand anything. T.T

When you open the package, there's a small card that tells you where to apply the concealer, which I find pretty useful. The picture above tells you where to highlight on certain areas of the face: underneath the eye bags, lower forehead, mouth wrinkles (I think that's what you call it... wrinkles on the cheeks!) and around the mouth (to make your mouth smaller).

There are 3 shades of pigment. To cover dark circles, I recommend mixing the lightest colour and the one next to it for the best coverage.  To cover blemishes, mix the middle shade with the darkest shade and vary the proportions depending on your skin tone.

So those are the 3 shades. The image looks darker than it actually is in the real life.

Likes:
- Pretty good concealer with buildable coverage
- Pigmentation is great.

Dislikes:
- Can be a bit cakey under the eyes but it'll be fine if you put a base like eye cream or anything hydrating underneath.

Chia Seed toner (Face Shop)

Recently, I've been really into korean make up and all the skin care products. To be honest, the products work really well on me.
I bought this Chia Seed toner from the Face Shop. I've used other toner products from Lioele and Etude but this one suits me the most. It doesn't make my skin feel irritated or hot (since my skin is pretty sensitive) and it smells pretty good. I apply it after I go shower because I always use hot water which makes my face really dry. It pretty much freshen and lighten up my skin. But I don't put the Chia Seed toner on my face everyday though.
